“ Four of us attended dinner on Saturday night. We had looked at the menu beforehand and decided it looked like a pretty interesting menu. All four of us weren’t disappointed with our choices. The portions were generous, and the presentation was great. Each appeared to have a separate flavor . It was great to go to an establishment that just didn’t have steak and chips and veal parmigiana on the menu! The last thing was, the prices were very competitive. Would recommend. ”

“ We came to sample the rums and liqueurs, stayed for lunch, and finished with a purchase of rum crush and rum and coke. Great service, friendly staff, and a worthwhile visit if you want to do some rum tasting and get a meal. They also have beer tasting, but we didn't try that on this occasion. ”

“ We had such a wonderful lunch at the Beenleigh Artisan Distillery (Beenleigh Rum Distillery to the locals). As Australia’s oldest distillery, the venue is both charming in an old worldly way and a modern with the recent architectural make-over turning this into a stunning venue for your next family lunch, dinner or event. Food was great, pub quality food (good large portions), table service was on-point and both the rum and non-rum drinks were wonderful. We would recommend trying the mixed cans $25 for 4 - pineapple, passion fruit, orange and ginger. Fresh and tasty. We had our two kids in tow, the space is family friendly. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming again. ”

“ Great space to have lunch and enjoy some local brews! There is lots of indoor seating and some bar tables outside too. Good venue for larger groups too. Burgers were great, the truffle mayo was really delish. Chips were cooked to perfection! They have meal deals even on the weekends which was great. Service was also excellent. Would definitely come back again! ”

From the moment you arrive, you can feel the history and craftsmanship behind everything they do. The distillery has this perfect mix of heritage charm and modern polish — you’re not just grabbing a drink, you’re stepping into a piece of Queensland rum history. The tasting experience is outstanding. Every rum we tried had real character and depth, and the staff took the time to explain the flavour profiles, the aging process, and the story behind each bottle without ever making it feel like a lecture. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and that enthusiasm is contagious. The venue itself is relaxed and beautifully set up. Sitting there with a drink in hand, surrounded by the distillery atmosphere, makes it incredibly easy to lose track of time. It’s perfect for a casual afternoon, a date, or bringing visitors who want to experience something uniquely local. If you enjoy rum — or even think you might — this place is absolutely worth the trip. We’ll definitely be back. ”
